Brick weed refers to cannabis that has been condensed in order to transport it more efficiently. It used to be the most common way of getting weed. The quality of these buds tends to be lower than other kinds of weed. In the US, most brick weed is sourced from Mexico.
The process of condensing the weed can make lower quality buds appear denser and danker. The brick is wrapped in tape or a bag to hold it together during transportation. In the bricking process, a lot of kief is knocked off the buds, and this is one reason why higher quality buds aren’t bricked. Brick weed is considered a low grade of marijuana, but does have some uses in the medical and recreational field.
