Hugh McLaughlin

Hugh McLaughlin is a practicing chemical engineer and the CTO of AC FOX, Inc. He is an expert on activated carbon and biochar, having been the Director of Biocarbon Research at Alterna Biocarbon, Inc. from 2009 to 2013. AC FOX has patented technology in the area of regeneration of spent activated carbon and has this technology available for licensing. In addition, AC FOX has patent pending technology for the production and upgrading of biochar from a wide variety of biomass feedstocks.
