Automate the Cannabis Harvesting Process with GreenBroz Dry Trimmers
GreenBroz’s harvest automation products are designed to help growers throughout the cannabis harvest process, from removing dried buds from the stems to extracting trichomes from trim material.

Harvesting marijuana can be a tedious, time consuming process that can require a small army of hired hands. Employing a fairly large group of people takes a significant bite out of the garden’s profits and also creates additional security concerns and the need for micro-managing (babysitting).
There is one company dedicated to streamlining the cannabis harvesting process and drastically reducing the overall time and labor associated with the harvest. That company is GreenBroz.
GreenBroz’s harvest automation products are designed to help growers throughout the cannabis harvest process, from removing dried buds from the stems to extracting trichomes from trim material.
A New Generation of Harvest Automation
GreenBroz, Inc. was officially founded in 2013 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA. They are committed to leading the industry in automated harvesting solutions for the legal cannabis business. GreenBroz’s fine American craftsmanship, commitment to detail, and outstanding customer service helps cultivators realize their own versions of the American dream.
The quality of the finished product is first and foremost for the folks at GreenBroz and that is glaringly obvious when checking out their flagship product, the dry trimmer. Word of Greenbroz’s dry trimmers spread quickly among cannabis growers because of their speed, quietness, and ability to retain quality.
These factors are what led to the company’s original tag line, “Gentle. Quick. Quiet.” In 2016, GreenBroz introduced two more harvesting machines, the 215 CannaGin de-stemmer and the Alchemist 215 trichome extractor. The Alchemist 215, in addition to the dry trimmers, completes an entire line of dry-harvest equipment and created a new generation of harvest automation.
CannaGin 215 De-stemmer
Named after the cotton gin, the machine which separates cotton fibers from their seeds, the CannaGin 215 automatically removes dried cannabis buds from the stems. The CannaGin is the first machine a cultivator would use in the chain of GreenBroz harvest automation equipment. This simple-to-operate machine contains four stem guides and allows one or two operators to process up to four stems at a time.
The CannaGin is designed to drastically reduce the amount of time needed to de-stem the flowers before trimming. In fact, the CannaGin can achieve the same results as hand de-stemming, but in 25% of the amount of time.
The housing of the CannaGin is constructed of HDPE, the same material used for cutting boards, which means it won’t hold microbial or bacterial growth. The metal used in the construction of the CannaGin is all food-grade stainless steel.
Like all GreenBroz products, the CannaGin is proudly made in the U.S.A. In addition to the American craftsmanship and high quality materials, the CannaGin has multiple features which make this tool user-friendly and safe to operate.
A digital display shows the revolutions per minute. The revolutions can be adjusted with the speed dial and range from 1-80 revolutions per minute. The forward/reverse switch controls the direction of the whisper-quiet 25 watt motor.
There is also an operate switch to toggle between “stand by” and “run” (the machine only operates in the “run” position) and an emergency stop switch for added safety. The CannaGin can be cleaned and ready for the next harvest in less than five minutes; a feature many cannabis growers will appreciate. The CannaGin also comes compete with a one year manufacturer’s warranty.
215 Standard Dry Trimmer
After de-stemming the dried flower material, the next step in the harvest process is to trim the sugar leaves from the cannabis flowers. The GreenBroz 215 Standard Dry Trimmer is designed to increase the consistency and efficiency of the trimming process by gently, quickly, and quietly mimicking the act of hand trimming.
This little beast is capable of processing 2-4 pounds per hour at a noise level so low that you can still enjoy listening to your favorite music while you trim. The patented design gently rolls the flowers and creates manicured buds which retain their curves and unique shape.
The patented process retains a high quality on both the buds and the trim material. This enables a grower to also make a profit on the trim material by making extracts. As with the CannaGin De-stemmer, the housing of the 215 Standard Dry Trimmer is made from HDPE.
The whisper-quiet motor operates on only 25 watts of power and turns the food-grade stainless steel blades at 20 revolutions a minute. The entire unit weighs in at 35 pounds, making it extremely portable.
The machine can be cleaned in 5-10 minutes and comes with a one year manufacturer’s warranty. GreenBroz even supplies their own line of machine oil for cleaning and lubricating the GreenBroz Dry Trimmer.
420 Commercial Dry Trimmer
The 420 Commercial Dry Trimmer is the go-to trimmer for serious cannabis cultivators. This machine can process 8-12 pounds of material per hour. Like the 215 Standard Dry Trimmer, the patented design allows for gentle rolling of the flowers which maintains a higher overall quality.
Many growers have sworn off trimming machines because of the damage they inflict on cannabis flowers. This damage, in turn, reduces the quality and the marketability of the final product. GreenBroz 420 Commercial Dry Trimmer will not damage quality during the trimming process, but, instead, will help the cultivator achieve bigger profits by slashing labor costs.
The damage done by competitor trimming machines is not limited to the flower material. They also damage the valuable trim material. In addition to the quality of the flowers, GreenBroz trimmers also protect the quality of the trim material so additional profits can be made on extracts.
Alchemist 215 and Alchemist 420
Speaking of profitable extracts, the GreenBroz Alchemist 215 and Alchemist 420 are dry-sift, solvent-free trichome extractors that can be operated as stand-alone units or with the addition of dry ice.
After the cannabis flowers are run through a dry trimmer, the resulting trim material can be put in the last machine in the series of GreenBroz automated harvest machines, the Alchemist 215 or Alchemist 420. These units are made from the same high quality HDPE material and food-grade stainless steel as the other GreenBroz products.
The 130 micron screen separates the trichomes from the plant material as the 25 watt whisper-quiet motor rotates the holding chamber.
The adjustable timer gives a grower even more control as he or she learns how long to process each individual strain. Trichomes fall onto a trichome collection tray for easy removal.
The GreenBroz Alchemist 420 is the large-scale version of the Alchemist 215. In other words, the Alchemist 420 is built to extract trichomes from large quantities of trim material. Both units can clean up in less than 10 minutes and come complete with a one year manufacturer’s warranty.
Experienced cannabis cultivators understand the value of increasing efficiency during the harvesting process. They also understand that it is not worth trading quality for the convenience of automated trimmers.
This is why so many experienced cannabis horticulturists are turning to GreenBroz automated harvesting products when processing a dried harvest.
GreenBroz manufactures all of their products in the U.S.A. and are dedicated to helping cannabis growers maximize the efficiency of their harvests.
From removing flowers from the stems to creating a top-shelf, non-solvent trichome extract, and all of the trimming in-between, GreenBroz has you covered. As GreenBroz continues to introduce revolutionary harvesting products, they are sure to solidify their place as the global leader of harvest automation equipment for cannabis.
