1. Mist the mother plants 10 to 14 days before taking cuttings with "Rocket Fuel." (The Fearless Gardener Volume 1.3). Remember, this first step is extremely important to the success of your cuttings. Choose only the strongest, healthiest plants to take cuttings from. 2. Remove cuttings from the plants, leaving one set of leaves, and a few inches of stem, depending on plant species. Please ask a staff member for detailed information on the correct procedure for taking cuttings. 3. Prepare the "Shooter Mix" as follows: A. Fill a 5 gallon pail with high quality water. Add 5 jiggers (10 tbsp) Force 3000 Paramagnetic Mineral Soil. Stir this in well then let the soil settle out over night. This paramagnetic charged water forces the alignment of minerals increasing your plants access to and transport of these minerals through its' root system. Pour off this charged water leaving the mineral soil behind. B. Mix in 1/2 jigger (1 tbsp) of Supernatural SuperBoost. (Approx. 200-300 p.p.m. TDS). This is the finest blend of high quality plant nutrients available today. Ideal for starting your cuttings. Note: This food will also adjust your pH to the ideal 6.0 - 6.1. C. Add 2 jiggers (60 ml) of Supernatural B1 Thrive. Again, this product is made with the highest quality B1 available ensuring quick and effective absorption and assimilation of your cuttings. Also contains Allantoin (an effective plan cell proliferant). D. Add 1/2 jigger (15ml) Growth Plus. Growth Plus is a very concentrated solution of nutrients and natural growth hormones with cytokinin being the main one. These hormones play an important part in root development and improving cell division, size and quality. E. Add 2 jiggers (60ml) Hyper Oxygen. Hyper Oxygen is 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide to remove any chlorine and increase the level of oxygen availability in water. It also destroys harmful bacteria and viruses. (damping off). F. Add 1 jigger (30ml) Earth Food. Earth Food is a 2 part product, first being catalyst altered water, changing the structure of molecules in water. Your water will now form attractions with free electrons, helping better serve water's role as a transporter, cleansing and absorption mechanism within your cuttings circulatory system. Secondly, it contains trace minerals and other desirable ingredients obtained from lignite (the fossil remains of plants grown 50 million years ago. 4. When cuttings are ready to be set into the medium, take the time to water the medium with "Shooter Mix" to give the best possible results in conformity, vigor, size, survival rate and quality. Treat the cuttings with a good quality rooting gel such as Olivia's Cloning Gel as per label instructions. 5. Maintain a relatively high humidity for cuttings, using a Tray and Dome designed for cuttings. 6. Bottom heat is very important so be sure to place the cutting tray on a heating pad, such as an Electra Grow Mat. 7. Please mix all fertilizers according to the label rates, if these rates are not followed, it is done at the user's risk.
