Jim Jesson

Jim Jesson, President of Maximum Yield Publications

As President of Maximum Yield Publications, Jim was approached with starting a new indoor gardening magazine in 1998. Since then, he has expanded the publication from one edition to five around the world, in two languages. His amazing dedication to the world of indoor gardening has helped the industry grow and expand in the 10 years he has been behind the helm of Maximum Yield.

Linda Jesson

Linda Jesson, Business Manager

Linda Jesson has always had a hand in shaping Maximum Yield. Helping Jim organize the first annual indoor gardening expo in Vancouver, Linda got a taste of the indoor gardening industry and knew that was where she wanted to be. Since then, Linda has become the driving force behind Maximum Yield becoming a house hold name in the industry. Known for her smile and laugh, Linda is the heart behind Maximum Yield.

Don Moores

Don Moores, General Manager

Don joined Maximum Yield in 2008 with a background in publishing. After 18 years as president at Black Press Newspapers and 25 years in the newspaper industry, his expertise and sales knowledge make him an indispensable member of the team.

Lisa Lambersek

Lisa Lambersek, Sales Director

Coming to us from Harbour Air Seaplanes, where she was in charge of community relations, Lisa brings a wealth of business knowledge and a keen attitude. She is an individual who wants her clients to succeed because she cares deeply for them. Lisa has the perspective and the training to overcome all obstacles. Lisa is a marketing specialist and looks forward to helping you take your business to new levels.

Julie Madden

Julie Madden, Account Executive

Joining us in 2009, Julie hails from an extensive background in customer service. Having spent nearly a decade in the horticultural industry, Julie shares the passion for all things gardening. With an enthusiasm for helping others, and a no-nonsense attitude, she makes an ideal addition to the sales and marketing team here at Maximum Yield.

Ilona Hawser

Ilona Hawser, Administrative and Sales Assistant

Ilona Hawser has lived in Canada since 1997, having immigrated from the Czech Republic. During her working career, Ilona has gained valuable experience in business management and sales. An extrovert by nature, and incredibly energetic, Ilona is looking forward to working with the Maximum Yield clients and helping them grow substantially.

Jessica Raymond

Jessica Raymond, Editor

Jessica joined the team at Maximum Yield Publications in 2008 as a recent journalism graduate. Her fresh enthusiasm and editorial experience will help take the magazine to the next level while maintaining its status as the best in the business. With Maximum Yield’s “Customers come first” motto in mind and exceptional organizational skills, she will bring forth the best writers and articles and the most profitable advertising opportunity in the industry.

Pentti Tikkanen

Pentti Tikkanen, Art Director

Pentti joined Maximum Yield in 2006 and has never looked back. Known as the work horse around the office, Pentti is relied on to ensure that magazines not only meet their art deadline but also makes them look amazing. Pentti puts a lot of effort into each magazine he designs, which comes through on the page. Pentti has been working in graphic design for over 20 years throughout North America and Europe and enjoys the new challenges that come up, almost daily.

Alice Joe

Alice Joe, Graphic Designer

Alice joined the Maximum Yield team in 2007. Alice grew up in Merritt, a small town in the interior of British Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art and has studied Digital Art and Graphic Design.

 

Wes Cargill

Wes Cargill, Graphic Designer

Wes joined in 2008. He has worked in print and interactive design since 1989 after graduating with a Diploma of Applied Arts in Graphic Arts. In addition to his work on the magazines, Wes is responsible for designing and developing the Maximum Yield websites.
